damage case

please dont laugh 
my 2 months old flexible headphone broke and split into two pieces this morning. and i did the most logical thought that i had at that moment (*it was 5am btw,what do you expect?*) by put a safety pin at the split end of my headphone to hold it together. (*it broke at the middle btw*)
a safety pin!!!
my best buddy had a serious case of laughing uncontrollably, looking at my newly modified headphone. 
the creative thinking just went a bit off-scale, dont you think so?
